How clients opt in to texts
BookMarvels, operated by Ringenious Solutions LLC · last updated October 8, 2026
Clients book on a business's BookMarvels booking page (live example: Ringenious Solutions). There are two separate consents; neither is a condition of booking or of any purchase, and both boxes start unticked.
(a) Appointment texts
- Program: BookMarvels appointment texts, sent for the business as "<Business> via BookMarvels".
- Message types: booking confirmations, reminders (reply C to confirm, R to reschedule), changes and cancellations, waitlist openings, receipts.
- Frequency: varies, typically 2–4 per appointment.
- Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.
- Privacy Policy · Terms & Conditions
The unticked box at the contact step reads, word for word:
Send me appointment texts from Ringenious Solutions via BookMarvels (confirmations, reminders, waitlist openings; frequency varies). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Privacy Policy · Terms & Conditions
Every step of the booking page, from the first screen, shows this notice at the bottom of the screen:
By booking you may receive appointment texts from Ringenious Solutions via BookMarvels (confirmations, reminders, waitlist openings; frequency varies). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Privacy Policy · Terms & Conditions
(b) Promotional texts (offers)
- Program: offers from the business (example: Ringenious Solutions), from its own registered number +1 (302) 467-2997.
- Message types: promotions and discounts.
- Frequency: about 4 per month, never two within 48 hours, only 9 am–8 pm in the client's local time.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.
- Privacy Policy · Terms & Conditions
The second unticked box reads, word for word:
Send me offers from Ringenious Solutions by text (promotions and discounts, about 4 per month). Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Privacy Policy · Terms & Conditions
Offers can also be joined by texting JOIN to +1 (302) 467-2997, or in the shop; in both cases only a YES reply from the client's own phone signs them up (below).
1. Booking online: the notice and two unticked boxes
The notice ① is on every step. After choosing a service and a time, the client enters their name and mobile number; the two boxes appear under the number: ② appointment texts and ③ offers. The booking goes through whether or not either is ticked.

Leaving the first box unticked means no texts about the appointment (an email confirmation is sent if they gave an email). Leaving the second unticked means no offers.
2. Texting the keyword: double opt-in
A client texts JOIN to +1 (302) 467-2997. They are asked to confirm, and only a YES reply from their own phone signs them up for offers.

The reply to JOIN:
Ringenious Solutions: Reply YES to receive offers (about 4/month). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
After the client replies YES:
Ringenious Solutions: You're subscribed to offers (about 4/month). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
3. In the shop: staff ask, the client confirms with YES
When a client says in person that they'd like offers, staff open the client's record and click They agreed in the shop: text them to confirm. That sends the client the same YES request; consent is recorded only when the client replies YES.

The text the client receives:
Ringenious Solutions: Reply YES to receive offers (about 4/month). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
Clients who book by phone or in person and agree to appointment texts: staff click They agreed (by phone or in person) on the same record, which is recorded with who recorded it. The first appointment text is a confirmation that ends "Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out."
Records
Every consent is recorded with the time, the source, the phone number and the exact words shown or sent.
Stopping and help
Replying STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) stops all texts at once and sends one confirmation:
Ringenious Solutions: You're unsubscribed and won't get any more texts from us. Reply START to get appointment texts again.
Replying HELP returns the business's name, its contact details and BookMarvels support (support@bookmarvels.com), and how to stop.
