SMS privacy policy

This policy covers the text messages sent through BookMarvels, the booking platform operated by Ringenious Solutions LLC: appointment texts sent for the businesses that use BookMarvels (as "<Business> via BookMarvels" or under the business's name) and offers a business sends to clients who opted in to them, and the information used to send them.

Mobile information and SMS consent

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.

When you agree to texts, you give your consent directly to Ringenious Solutions LLC (BookMarvels) and, for texts sent under a business's name (for example "Ringenious Solutions via BookMarvels" or "Ringenious Solutions:"), to that business. Your consent covers only the texts you agreed to: appointment texts and, separately, offers. It is never a condition of booking or of any purchase.

What we collect

Your name and mobile number, the appointments you book, the messages we send you and your replies, and a record of each consent: when, where (online, by keyword, in the shop) and the exact words you were shown or sent.

How we use it

To send messages about your own appointments (confirmations, reminders, changes, cancellations, waitlist openings, receipts) if you agreed to them, and to answer messages you send. If, and only if, you separately opt in to a business's offers, that business sends occasional offers, about 4 a month, between 9 am and 8 pm in your local time.

We share your number and messages only with the providers that deliver them (our messaging provider Twilio and the mobile carriers and aggregators), for that purpose only, and with the business you booked with for its own clients. We never sell them or share them for anyone's marketing.

Keeping it

We keep your number, message history and consent records while you are a client, and delete them on request unless the law requires us to keep them.

Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, START to get appointment texts again, and HELP for help. To see, correct or delete your information, email support@bookmarvels.com.
